Zwangsarbeit liegt vor, wenn Menschen durch Gewalt, Betrug oder N\u00f6tigung gegen ihren Willen zur Arbeit gezwungen werden. Die Internationale Arbeitsorganisation (ILO) definiert Zwangsarbeit als \u201ejede unfreiwillige Arbeit oder Dienstleistung, die unter Androhung einer Strafe erbracht wird und f\u00fcr die sich die betreffende Person nicht freiwillig zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt hat\u201c.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\">Bestimmte Branchen sind anf\u00e4lliger f\u00fcr Zwangsarbeit, insbesondere die Bekleidungs- und Dienstleistungsbranche, in der oft viele Frauen besch\u00e4ftigt sind. Regionen wie Asien sind aufgrund ihrer Konzentration exportorientierter, arbeitsintensiver Industrien besonders gef\u00e4hrdet. Wanderarbeiter \u2013 sowohl inl\u00e4ndische als auch ausl\u00e4ndische \u2013 sind am st\u00e4rksten betroffen und opfern oft ihre Freiheit, um ihre Familien zu ern\u00e4hren. In vielen F\u00e4llen ist den Arbeitern nicht einmal bewusst, dass sie Zwangsarbeit leisten.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\">Das Verbot der Zwangsarbeit ist das zweite der <a href=\"https:\/\/wrapcompliance.org\/de\/about\/what-we-do\/12-principles\/\">12 Grunds\u00e4tze<\/a> von Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP). WRAPs Mission ist es, unabh\u00e4ngig zu \u00fcberwachen und zu zertifizieren, dass gen\u00e4hte Produkte unter sicheren, gesetzeskonformen, humanen und ethischen Bedingungen hergestellt werden. Betriebe, die an WRAP teilnehmen, verpflichten sich freiwillig, diese Standards einzuhalten und sicherzustellen, dass ihre Auftragnehmer und Lieferanten dies ebenfalls tun. WRAP-Auditoren werden geschult, bei Fabrikbewertungen Anzeichen von Zwangsarbeit zu erkennen und sind verpflichtet, etwaige Bedenken zu melden.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\">WRAP erwartet, dass jede Besch\u00e4ftigung strikt freiwillig erfolgt. Arbeitsvertr\u00e4ge m\u00fcssen allen gesetzlichen Anforderungen entsprechen und d\u00fcrfen keine Zwangsbedingungen enthalten \u2013 wie beispielsweise hohe Geldstrafen, die Androhung von Abschiebung oder Einschr\u00e4nkungen der M\u00f6glichkeit eines Arbeitnehmers, seinen Arbeitsplatz freiwillig zu verlassen.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\">Trotz internationaler Rechtsrahmen, nationaler Gesetzgebung, Fabrikzertifizierungen wie WRAP und Marken-Verhaltenskodizes ist Zwangsarbeit nach wie vor weit verbreitet. Dieses Fortbestehen ist h\u00e4ufig auf inkonsistente Durchsetzung, mangelnde Transparenz in globalen Lieferketten, unzureichende Inspektionen und Korruption zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren.
