Haley Nystrom is WRAP’s Communications Manager. She oversees branding and messaging across all public-facing communications channels, ensuring stakeholders are abreast of program changes, upcoming events, and social compliance developments across the globe. She is the main point of contact for press, events, partnerships, and publicity inquiries.
Originally from northern Virginia, Haley graduated from the University of Mary Washington (UMW) with a double major in English (creative writing) and communications (digital media studies). She has worked with a number of nonprofits focused on environmental issues, public health, human rights, and poverty alleviation. Prior to joining WRAP, she served on the communications team of a leading nationwide labor and employment law firm. She also served on the board of a local women’s leadership and development forum that brought women in the D.C. area together to learn about trending public policy issues.
Outside of work, Haley is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Policy (MPP) from George Mason University (GMU)’s Schar School of Policy and Government. Her free time is usually spent visiting Virginia breweries, D.C. museums, and Delaware beaches.
