Home to four of the top 10 countries with the largest number of WRAP-certified facilities, Southeast Asia remains a key focus for advancing responsible production, social compliance, and supply chain transparency.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\"><br>On September 17, WRAP\u2019s President and CEO Avedis Seferian will lead an insightful session, \u201cDriving Market Growth Through Transparency and Forced-labor-free Supply Chains\u201d at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lefaso.org.vn\/?lang=en\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.lefaso.org.vn\/?lang=en\">Vietnam Footwear Summit 2026<\/a> addressing brands, manufacturers, and other industry leaders about one of the most pressing issues in the global supply chain.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The following month, Avedis will lead the session, \u201cCompeting Pressures: Labor Standards in an Era of Tariffs and Compliance Demands\u201d during the American Apparel and Footwear Association\u2019s (AAFA) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aafaglobal.org\/AAFA\/Events\/2026_Landing_Pages\/05_VTN261020\/VTN261020.aspx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.aafaglobal.org\/AAFA\/Events\/2026_Landing_Pages\/05_VTN261020\/VTN261020.aspx\">International Apparel &amp; Footwear Compliance Conference<\/a> in Ho Chi Minh City, providing insights on how the current geopolitical tensions are influencing social compliance.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In Cambodia, WRAP and AAFA will lead a workshop to discuss the current social compliance landscape and regulatory mandates affecting Cambodian exporters. The event, taking place October 22 in Phnom Penh and hosted by Textile, Apparel, Footwear &amp; Travel Goods Association (TAFTAC), will bring together facility owners and managers, textile and component companies, and firms that partner with the supply chains of major brands and retailers.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\"><br>WRAP and AAFA will lead a separate workshop in Hanoi hosted by the Vietnam Textile &amp; Apparel Association (VITAS). The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aafaglobal.org\/AAFA\/Events\/2026_Landing_Pages\/11_CSRW\/SRW261022.aspx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/taftac-cambodia.org\/events\/details\/?id=44\">Hanoi Social Responsibility Workshop<\/a> will spotlight current social compliance landscape and regulatory mandates.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-paragraph\"><br>This busy period of travel concludes in December with the <a href=\"https:\/\/event.vietnamtextile.org.vn\/en\/homepage.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/event.vietnamtextile.org.vn\/en\/homepage.html\">VITAS General Meeting 2026<\/a>.
