Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is pleased to announce that Mark Jaeger will join our team as Vice President, Stakeholder Engagement effective September 1, 2020.<\/p>\n\n
Before assuming this role, Mr. Jaeger served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at Jockey International, a global, branded apparel company. Mark was a part of the Jockey team for 27 years, where he handled legal, trade, and compliance matters.<\/p>\n\n
In addition to his work with Jockey, Mr. Jaeger has been a vital part of several industry organizations, including the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Textiles and Clothing (ITAC 13), and the American Apparel and Footwear Association’s (AAFA) Government Relations Committee. He has also been a long-time supporter of WRAP and its mission, and he recently concluded 16 years of service on WRAP’s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n
In his new capacity, Mr. Jaeger will be responsible for engaging with WRAP’s wide range of stakeholders and furthering the organization’s position as the world’s largest independent facility certification program focused on the apparel, footwear, and sewn products sectors.<\/p>\n\n
WRAP President and CEO Avedis H. Seferian expressed his great enthusiasm about this hiring. “Mark Jaeger has been a prominent voice in the sewn product space for over 25 years, and a vocal advocate for WRAP and its mission. Mark’s experience and skillset will further drive WRAP’s influence and effectiveness. I am excited for him to join our family in this new capacity,” Mr. Seferian said.<\/p>\n\n
Mr. Jaeger said, “I look forward to working directly with the WRAP team in this new role. This is a mission-driven organization focused on protecting workers and meeting the apparel and textile sector’s social compliance needs.”<\/p>\n\n
