Portmeirion Group PLC, headquartered in the United Kingdom, are owner, designer, manufacturer, and omni-channel retailer leading homeware brands in global markets. Prior to joining Portmeirion Michael founded Cormac Advisory Services LLC, offering a full range of consulting services to retail, e-commerce, and wholesale businesses, including end-to-end product development and sourcing capabilities. He also served as Vice President of Private Brands, Strategy, and Global Sourcing Operations for Hudson\u2019s Bay Company (parent of Saks Fifth Avenue, and Hudson\u2019s Bay Canada). Mr. Gilson served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Smart Apparel US, a men\u2019s fashion, and wholesale company. Mr. Gilson worked for over 20 years in May Department Stores International, where he advanced to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. His resume includes a stint at Deloitte LLP as senior audit manager. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Cum Laude from Adelphi University in New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Additionally, Mr. Gilson serves on several Boards of Directors, including Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) as its Vice Chair, the Better Buying Institute and on the LIM College advisory board.
