Alex Karapetkov joined WRAP in October 2025 as an IT Systems Support Coordinator. In this role, he provides technical and administrative support for WRAP’s IT systems and user management processes. Alex works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth system access, accurate data maintenance, and timely resolution of IT-related issues. He also serves as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for WRAP’s new auditing platform.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from James Madison University, with a minor in History. During his time at JMU, he was an active member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Society (JMU DPE), where he tutored students from refugee families, helped organize fundraisers to support refugee communities, and participated in foreign service professional development events. He also holds CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner certifications.
