WRAP Fall Preview: Major Events Across ASEAN

This fall, WRAP’s leadership will travel across Southeast Asia, a region that plays a central role in the global supply chain. Home to four of the top 10 countries with the largest number of WRAP-certified facilities, Southeast Asia remains a key focus for advancing responsible production, social compliance, and supply chain transparency.

On September 17, WRAP’s President and CEO Avedis Seferian will lead an insightful session, “Driving Market Growth Through Transparency and Forced-labor-free Supply Chains” at the Vietnam Footwear Summit 2026 addressing brands, manufacturers, and other industry leaders about one of the most pressing issues in the global supply chain.

The following month, Avedis will lead the session, “Competing Pressures: Labor Standards in an Era of Tariffs and Compliance Demands” during the American Apparel and Footwear Association’s (AAFA) International Apparel & Footwear Compliance Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, providing insights on how the current geopolitical tensions are influencing social compliance.

In Cambodia, WRAP and AAFA will lead a workshop to discuss the current social compliance landscape and regulatory mandates affecting Cambodian exporters. The event, taking place October 22 in Phnom Penh and hosted by Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association (TAFTAC), will bring together facility owners and managers, textile and component companies, and firms that partner with the supply chains of major brands and retailers.

WRAP and AAFA will lead a separate workshop in Hanoi hosted by the Vietnam Textile & Apparel Association (VITAS). The Hanoi Social Responsibility Workshop will spotlight current social compliance landscape and regulatory mandates.

This busy period of travel concludes in December with the VITAS General Meeting 2026. Here, WRAP will speak on critical issues such as forced labor and supply chain transparency, with Avedis’ contributions providing valuable insights for the regional industry.
