Around the world, there is a growing trend of legislation covering supply chains leading to an annual cadence becoming standard for social audits and due diligence reporting. As regulatory requirements grow and buyer expectations evolve, many brands and stakeholders now require facilities to undergo social audits on a yearly basis.

WRAP is committed to ensuring that our certification program continues to align with evolving global expectations for responsible supply chain management. As part of this commitment, we have updated our certification offerings.

To better align WRAP certification with these industry standards and expectations, WRAP will no longer issue two‑year (Platinum) certificates as of March 1, 2026. This change supports greater consistency with global compliance frameworks and helps facilities meet the requirements of their customers and regulatory environments.

All existing Platinum certificates will remain valid through their current expiration dates, and no immediate action is required for facilities holding an active Platinum certification.

WRAP certificates will no longer have levels of certification (Gold/Platinum). Upon passing the WRAP audit, facilities will receive a certificate which will indicate an annual Certification of Compliance.
