Hong Mei first joined the WRAP team in 2005. She works closely with WRAP’s regional representatives and international auditing companies around the world to improve workers’ lives and their working conditions in manufacturing facilities, as well as maintain the integrity of the WRAP Certification Program. Hong is also responsible for updating all audit-related documents, aligning WRAP’s requirements with current industry and international standards and best practices. She has conducted benchmarking exercises and gap analyses of various standards and buyers’ Codes of Conduct which has helped her gain new knowledge and stay abreast of emerging issues.

Through her many roles at WRAP over the past 20 years, Hong has gained deep understanding of various labor and human rights issues in the supply chains. By applying practical approaches, Hong helps advance ethical practices in manufacturing facilities.
