Founded in 2015, the Vereinigung professioneller Prüfer für die Einhaltung sozialer Standards (APSCA) is an industry association, whose members represent a substantial majority of the social compliance audit industry.

Die Mission von APSCA ist es, die Professionalität, Konsistenz und Glaubwürdigkeit der Personen und Organisationen zu verbessern, die unabhängige Social-Compliance-Audits durchführen. WRAP ist ein starker Unterstützer und Mitwirkender der Arbeit von APSCA und verlangt, dass alle WRAP-akkreditierten Überwachungspartnerfirmen APSCA-Mitglieder sind.

APSCA requires its member auditors to complete 48 hours of continuous professional development (CPD) training each year. Two WRAP training courses are recognized by the association’s CPD program: the Zweitägiges Brückentraining und die Eintägige Auffrischungsschulung. The hours required to complete these courses count towards APSCA’s minimum CPD requirements.

Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) fully endorses the APSCA Social Compliance Audit Fee that was recently implemented (effective July 1, 2023). For more information, please consult APSCA’s website.
