Founder, Go Global Retail

Jeff Streader is a global leader in the consumer sector. He has over thirty-years experience leading multi-channel, complex organizations for some of the leading brands and retailers. His experience includes Supply Chain and Operations, Strategy, Technology and Omni-channel Retailing.

He founded Go Global Retail in 2015. His clients are retailers, brands, private equity, and strategic investors in the consumer sector. He advised the vertically integrated retailer American Apparel, guiding the company in pre-bankruptcy and leading the organization’s restructuring.

In 2014, Jeff was the Chief Operating Officer at Billabong. While working closely with the private equity investors, he was instrumental in leading change management and streamlining the speed to market of the company’s “design pipeline”. He was also responsible for upgrading the company’s Omni-channel platform and infrastructure.

In 2011, Jeff was an Operating Partner at Marlin Equity, a global investment firm that acquired and manages businesses, with over $3 billion of capital under management. Jeff’s was responsible for leading investment opportunities in the consumer sector.

In 2008, Jeff was the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Guess?, Inc. leading their global operations. He provided leadership in Research & Development and Product Development, Supply Chain, Social Compliance, Quality, and Logistics for teams in Asia, Europe, and North America.

Earlier, Jeff was President of Kellwood Company, Vice President of Global Supply Chain at VF Corporation and he had lead roles with Oxford Industries and software company Fasturn.

He has been a Board Member of WRAP since 2007, the largest independent facility certification program in the world.

Jeff holds a degree in Business Administration from Stockton University. Jeff has taught in the advanced study program at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles since 2012. Jeff has over three decades of experience working with complex global supply chains for some of the apparel industry’s leading consumer brands and retailers. He currently serves as the Global Chief Operating Officer for Billabong International, where he oversees the company’s global supply chain as well as its direct-to-consumer and technology operations. Prior to Billabong, Jeff served as an Operating Partner with Marlin Equity, a leading private investment firm with revenues in excess of $3 billion, where he focused on investment opportunities in the retail, branded apparel, and direct-to-consumer sectors. Jeff also founded Go Global Retail in 2011 to provide operational guidance and strategic advice for the apparel, footwear, and accessories industry. From 2008-2011, Jeff was the Senior Vice President of the Supply Chain at Guess?, Inc. where he led their global operations and provided leadership for all post-design functions including raw material R&D as well as product development thru logistics for teams around the world. Jeff has also served as the President of Kellwood Company’s corporate supply chain as well as Vice President of Global Sourcing for the VF Corporation. He attended Richard Stockton College in New Jersey where he earned a Business Administration degree and has been a WRAP Board Member since 2007.
