Mary Turner is the President of Designer Brands Canada (The Shoe Company, Shoe Warehouse, and DSW Canada). Prior to joining Designer Brands, Mary spent the bulk of her career with Hudson’s Bay Company (both the Hudson’s Bay and Lord & Taylor divisions) and Holt Renfrew, in a broad variety of merchandising roles.  She was very involved with the repositioning of Hudson’s Bay, specifically including the relaunch of The Room and the designer business.  Mary holds her BA from University of Toronto, Trinity College. Currently, she lives in Toronto, where she is a member of the Advisory Council for Ryerson University Faculty of Communication and Design.
