In a presentation delivered in conjunction with the Canadian Apparel Federation (CAF), Avedis Seferian, WRAP’s President and CEO, and Mark Jaeger, WRAP’s Vice President, Stakeholder Engagement, addressed social compliance in global supply chains, with a focus on the growing intersection of human rights and trade. The session addressed current risks, options, and tradeoffs involved, with a view to providing effective resources for organizations of all sizes.
Avedis and Mark were joined by Georgeta Navodarszky, Vice President of Supply Chain for Canadian Apparel Federation (CAF) member-firm Stormtech Performance Apparel Ltd. Georgeta shared her company’s perspective. Avedis also discussed significant emerging trends and explored best practices in addressing them.
