Debra Langley
Debra is a Partner at CAPTIS, a UK-based investment platform focused on tech innovators at the dynamic intersection of fashion, sport, popular culture and consumer engagement. She is also a Senior Advisor to LABEL Ventures, which develops high-potential premium fashion and water brands, and previously she served as a Venture Partner with Lyra Ventures, an investor in B2B solutions transforming fashion and retail.
In an advisory capacity, Debra supports early-stage and established enterprises, particularly pioneering tech ventures reshaping commerce. She sits on the Advisory Board of DesignSingapore Council, Singapore’s national agency for design, as well as the National Retail Federation (NRF) US Innovation Advisory Committee and the NRF APAC Advisory Board.
Debra has a proven track record with businesses of all sizes. She founded an omnichannel retail venture specializing in contemporary Asian fashion brands, and her corporate experience includes roles as President of DKNY JEANS International, overseeing operations in all non-US markets, and President APAC for Borderlinx, a global e-commerce enabler. Earlier, she co-founded an online health and wellness platform with philanthropist Michael Milken and held a business development role for the Hearst Corporation’s international division.
Debra is a US and New Zealand citizen, and a Singapore Permanent Resident.
